HOME MINISTER AMIT SHAH TO HOLD MEETING WITH J&K CORE COMMITTEE

Home Minister and BJP President Amit Shah today will meet with the Jammu and Kashmir Core Group. Since the recent developments in Jammu and Kashmir, we consider this meeting very important. We report it that PM Modi himself can be present in this meeting. However, it has not been confirmed more. Apart from Shah in this meeting, the party’s executive president JP Nadda, general secretary (organization) BL Santosh, Jammu, and Kashmir BJP president Ravindra Raina and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta and Union Minister Jitendra Singh will also be present.

EXPECT GOOD PERFORMANCE
There was good voting in the Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Despite boycotting this election by the state’s main parties, people came out of their homes and voted. Since this entire development, the BJP is very excited. The party believes that it will perform well in the forthcoming assembly elections. BJP’s Executive Chairman Nadda will be in the state on a long stay. Apart from this, several important issues will be discussed in the BJP meeting with the core group.

A senior leader of the party says, “We are expecting a better performance in the valley this time, in this way the party has hastened the process of selection of candidates.” In 2017, BJP had won 25 seats in 87 assembly seats. Although all these seats belong to the Jammu region, the party could not even open its account in the valley and Ladakh region. In the Panchayat elections held last year, 74 percent of the people voted. In the Jammu region, 83 percent of the normal voting was done. However, 41.3 percent of the voting in the valley was more than the votes cast in the general elections. The PDP and the National Conference boycotted this election.

35A IS A BIG ISSUE
Last year, the Central Government has sent additional 100 companies of paramilitary forces to the state. It is also increasing the stir in political corridors. PDP leader and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said that those trying to molest we will burn those trying to molest Article 35 A to the hands of the people. The leaders of the PDP and National Conference have alleged that the central government is preparing to remove the 35 A, which is why the extra security forces are being deployed in the state. However, sources linked to the government say that Pakistan’s terrorist organizations are preparing for a major attack in Kashmir, after this input, they have deployed additional forces for more promptness in the state.
