A man from Bhadrakh district of Odisha on Tuesday tested positive for coronavirus. The 29-year-old man who has tested positive for Covid-19 has a travel history to Dubai. This was informed through a tweet by the health department of the Odisha government.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases increased to four in Odisha.
Notably, 137 samples were tested on Tuesday at RMRC, AIIMS Bhubaneswar and SCB Cuttack testing centers. Out of which, one sample which was tested at AIIMS turned out to be positive for coronavirus.
According to the data released by the health department, Odisha Health Secretary NB Dhal had spoken to Bhadrak Collector Dr Gyana Das and asked him to shift the patient to SCB Medical College in Cuttack.
Isolation and tracing of close contacts with the patient have started.
