Modi government forms group of ministers on Kashmir, will prepare blueprint for development

According to sources, the group of ministers constituted for Kashmir includes Ravi Shankar Prasad, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Narendra Tomar and Dharmendra Pradhan.

The Modi government at the Center has formed a Group of Ministers on Kashmir. The group of ministers formed for Kashmir are Ravi Shankar Prasad, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Narendra Tomar and Dharmendra Pradhan. This group will prepare a plan to help the central ministries for the development of Kashmir. Its focus will be on skill development of youth.

According to sources, the Group of Ministers will prepare a blueprint which will mention the contribution of every ministry which can play its role in the development of Kashmir. The Group of Ministers will file its report by 31 October. On the basis of this report, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can announce a special package for Kashmir. Earlier, the Group of Ministers had met twice in which the skill development of the youth was discussed.
