Increased technical fault in planes, DGCA calls emergency meeting with GoAir and Indigo

DGCA has become serious about increasing technical problems in the aircraft of GoAir and IndiGo Airlines. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has called a meeting with GoAir and Indigo Airlines for a review meeting regarding the performance of Airbus Neo aircraft when a technical fault occurred in a Neo aircraft of IndiGo airline on Tuesday.IndiGo airline also had to issue a statement in this regard.

In recent times, many aircraft have faced technical problems. On August 26, the engine of the Indigo Neo VT-IZL aircraft from Bangalore to Mumbai got into a technical fault and the aircraft had to take off. On 24 August, after taking off in an Indigo aircraft (6E-356), the engine started speeding up at high speed. On 19 and 17 August, there was a technical flaw in the aircraft of IndiGo.

On 13 August, too, an Indigo flight had a technical flaw. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was also aboard this flight coming from Nagpur to Delhi.Actually, IndiGo Flight 6E 636 landed on the runway in the morning to reach Delhi from Nagpur. Suddenly there was a technical flaw in the aircraft. Then it was decided to take off from the runway. No passenger was harmed.

Earlier last month, the use of Prato & Whitney’s faulty engines was banned in 5 A320 Neo aircraft of the country’s largest airline IndiGo. These aircraft were expected to be back in operation by mid-August.
