I HAVE NOT RECEIVED UNNAO RAPE VICTIM’S LETTER: CJI GOGOI

Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi has expressed displeasure if the letter written by the victim’s family in Unnao Rape Case has not been received. Gogoi asked the registrar why the letter written on July 12 was not presented before him. They told that they got information about this letter from the media in the news. The registrar has to respond within a week. Chief Justice will tomorrow hear in the Unnao case.

CJI ANGRY OVER NOT GETTING THE LETTER
The Supreme Court asked Secretary-General to explain why the letter written by the Unnao Rape victim family (July 12) was not presented before him. The Supreme Court has also summoned a medical report of the rape victim. The Chief Justice said these things, somewhere, when an attorney referred to the Unnao in one case.

‘SOMETHING BETTER CAN BE DONE IN A VICIOUS ENVIRONMENT’
CJI Ranjan Gogoi said that the news is going on in the media that the victim sent us the letter, but we have not seen it yet. We want to know if the victim wrote the letter, why did not we get it? We want reports from the Registry on this serious case. CJI said that they will hear the matter tomorrow on the victim’s letter. We will strive for something better in this devastating environment for the victims. The Supreme Court also summoned a medical report of Unnao Rape victim. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also sought a status report from the Uttar Pradesh administration till Thursday on the accident of Unnao Rape victim.

UNNAO RAPE VICTIM WROTE TO GOGOI LETTER
In fact, the victim’s family of Unnao Rape Case wrote a letter to the Supreme Court Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi on July 12. The victim’s family mentioned the threats of MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in this letter.
