In yet another incident of lawmakers ignoring the social distancing rules amid the rising cases of coronavirus, Warangal East MLA Nannapaneni Narendra organised a birthday celebration event where nearly 3,000 people gathered.
Based on a complaint filed by the BJP leadership, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA has been booked by the police for violating lockdown and social distancing norms. The event was organised on May 20 in Warangal, an area that was marked as a red zone until recently.
At the event, MLA Nannapaneni Narendra cut a birthday cake and distributed groceries to people from 25 divisions of his constituency, ignoring all lockdown and social distancing norms.
