In today’s time see that many people are suffering from depression and anxiety. Most people don’t know about it and those who know prefers to avoid talking about it. They want to discuss it because they have a fear of getting judged.

They feel that if they will visit a psychologist people will term them as ‘mad’. But it is not like that.

What if I tell you that Red wine can be helpful for depression and anxiety?

Researchers believe that there is an element found in red wine, which can help in treating depression and anxiety.

MAGIC OF RESVERATROL DRUGS
This element from plants or plant compound resveratrol stops the secretion of a specific enzyme, showing anti-stress effect, which keeps anxiety in control.

According to Ying Zu, assistant professor of the University of Buffalo in the US, “Resveratrol drugs can be an effective alternative to patients suffering from depression and anxiety disorders.”

The findings published in the journal ‘Neuropharmacology’ highlight the fact that how neurological processes are affected by resveratrol. This is an element that has innumerable health benefits. It is found in grapes and berry seeds and their skin.

Researchers have found that resveratrol has properties to prevent depression. But, they don’t know it yet that what the element is related to the Fosfodiesterase 4 (PDE4).

Fosfodiesterase 4 is an enzyme that is affected by stress hormone corticosterone.

Corticosterone regulates physical activity against stress. With increased anxiety, the number of hormone increases in the brain, and eventually it causes stress and other mental disorders.

Researchers also disclosed that PDE 4 causes stress and anxiety caused by an excessive amount of corticosterone.

According to researchers, although red wine has resveratrol, consumption of alcohol remains a threat too many other health risks, including intoxication.
