Modi ji jhoot bolne ki factory hain: Tejashwi Yadav at Mamata’s rally

Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday opened war on Prime Minister Narenrda Modi and said he was a “manufacturer, wholesaler and the distributer of lies.”

“Modi ji jhoot bolne ki factory hain [PM Modi is a factory of lies]. [PM Modi] is the manufacturer, wholesaler and the distributer of lies.”

Tejashwi Yadav was speaking at Mamata Banerjee’s mega rally in Kolkata.

He referred to PM Modi as the ‘chowkidar’ and said, “Chowkidar may think he is the chowkidar but the public is the thanedar.”

He also said, “Bihari log toh udti chidya ko haldi lagaana tak jaante hain [People from Bihar can do unimaginable things].”

Tejashwi also urged the people to not kneel down to the Modi-Shah government.

“I was late to the rally because of Modi-Shah. If you don’t kneel down to them, they will unleash powers like the ED and the CBI,” Tejashwi said. He was referring to the IRCTC hotel scam in which Tejashwi was reportedly questioned by the CBI for hours.

To this end, he said, “But, we are not scared. My father has been jailed due to a conspiracy. But we won’t relent.”

Tejashwi further said Modi would lose sleep after the rally in Kolkata, while putting emphasis on the significance of the “mahagathbandhan”.

“People who question the mahagathbandhan, let me remind them India means unity in diversity,” Tejashwi said.

Leaders of over 20 Opposition parties are in attendance at Trinamool Congress’s (TMC) ‘United India’ rally.

TMC hopes to use the rally to prop Mamata Banerjee as a leader who can “take along other parties” and challenge the BJP after the Lok Sabha election due by May.
