School children had a narrow escape as their school van caught fire in Kerala’s Ernakulam on Monday morning.

On Monday, a van of Fathima Matha UP school in Kothamangalam region was on its way to the school. The driver noticed smoke coming out from the vehicle’s engine. He then quickly pulled over the vehicle and asked the students to get down immediately.
As soon as everyone including the students, got down from the vehicle, the van caught fire and burnt down completely.
Two units of fire force reached the spot to douse the fire.
No casualties have been reported so far.
