AMAZON TO LAUNCH ITS FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE IN INDIA SOON

Amazon is preparing to launch its online food delivery service in India.

After Amazon’s food delivery service arrives in India, it will compete with opponents like Swiggy and Zomato.

The company is planning to launch the food delivery service in India before the festivals. Festivals in India will start from September this year. So there is a possibility that Amazon will launch its food delivery service before that.

According to the Reuters report, the company is working with Catamaran for the launch of Food Delivery Service in India.

People close to the people related to the case told the agency that Amazon has also started hiring staff for the new operation.

A second report by Business Standard states that the company is negotiating the starting phase to buy UberEats.

Let us tell you that UberEats is the Food Delivery Service of Uber Technologies. And they launched it in India in 2017.

According to the report, the company is eager to get entry into India’s food delivery business. According to the information, Amazon can make this new service part of prime membership.

Tech veteran Amazon believes that coming out of the food delivery service, people will be more likely to switch to e-commerce platform than electronics, grocery and fashion accessories.

Besides, the addition of 10 million users to the prime membership already being used will boost the number of users to the prime membership already being used.

And, this will boost their Daily Transaction.

The UberEats can help make Amazon’s food delivery business successful. The value of this food delivery service is $300 million. Swiggy was in the process of acquiring its first, though it did not happen for some reasons later.
