After Daniel Craig’s No Time To Die and Marvel’s Black Widow, it is Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 which had to face the brunt of coronavirus. The release date of the superhero film has been postponed to August this year. The film was earlier scheduled to release on June 5 in North America and will now hit the screens on August 14.
Announcing the news, Gal Gadot took to social media and wrote, “In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all (sic).”
