Rajasthan govt’s special free bus service Moksh Kalash to start from Monday

The Ashok Gehlotled Rajasthan government has announced that the special free bus service, for people to go for immersion of ashes from Rajasthan to Uttarakhand, will start from Monday onwards.

As per the Gehlot government’s free bus service, two people will be able to accompany each urn and they will have to register on the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation portal, rsrtconline.rajasthan.gov.in.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in a statement on Sunday, said, “The first special bus will run on Monday. With each urn, two people will be able to go and they will have to register on the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation portal rsrtconline.rajasthan.gov.in.”

Gehlot’s statement added, “This initiative has seen good response from common people across the entire state. The senior citizen pilgrimmage scheme started during the time of our previous government had also benefited people a lot. On the same lines, this scheme may also benefit people waiting for immersion of ashes of their own. Because it is a very sensitive issue for several families.”

The Ashok Gehlotled government had reached an agreement with the Uttarakhand government. The Rajasthan government had been trying to reach a similar agreement with the Uttar Pradesh government as well.

The decision to start the special free bus service was taken at a high-level meeting held at the CM’s residence.
