DMK chief MK Stalin on Thursday once again hit out at PM Narendra Modi and called him a political broker during a rally in Karur.
After the demise of J Jayalalithaa, the BJP first contributed towards splitting the AIADMK into OPS and EPS factions and then united them. Is this the job of a PM? Modi is doing the job of a political broker in Tamil Nadu,” Stalin said, adding that he [Modi] is the only PM in the world who has gone on maximum number of tours.
Addressing a huge gathering in Karur, Stalin welcomed newly reinstated DMK member and disqualified MLA V Senthil Balaji, who recently left the TTV Dhinakaran-led AMMK party.
Talking about the Congress party’s recent success in Assembly elections, Stalin said, Places that were considered to be the BJP’s bastions have now been breached into by the Congress. This was not anticipated by Modi. Now, there is a massive political shift. This shows why Modi is attacking the Congress and the DMK.
In Tamil Nadu, where Dravidian parties have a strong hold, the BJP is now seen as a party actively trying to handhold the AIADMK.
