AYODHYA CASE: MEDIATION PANNEL TO PRESENT ITS REPORT TODAY

The arbitration panel formed to resolve the Ayodhya land dispute dialogue will submit a final report to the Supreme Court on Thursday in a closed envelope. The bench of five judges, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, had sought this report from the panel on a petition on July 11. They held the last meeting between all the parties on Monday in Uttar Pradesh Sadan, Delhi.

Earlier on July 18, the mediation panel submitted a status report to the court. Then the CJI had said that the mediation report is not being taken on the record as it is confidential. The panel handed over the final report to the court soon. If there is no positive result in it, then we will consider the hearing on 2 August. On the same day, it will mark the shortcomings of further issues and translation of documents on the hearing.

NOT GETTING POSITIVE RESULTS FROM THE MEDIATION PANEL
Earlier, the petitioner had said that there was no positive result from the arbitration panel. Therefore, the court should every day for early decision. On this, the court had said that after seeing the status report of the arbitration panel, it will decide if they should hear Ayodhya case daily or not. In the Ayodhya dispute, the plea of ​​party leader Gopal Singh Visharad and the Nirmohi Akhara of the earliest hearing also supported. The Akhara had said that the mediation process is not moving forward in the right direction. Earlier, the Akhara was in favor of arbitration.

COURT HAD CREATED THE MEDIATION PANEL IN MARCH
On March 8, the Supreme Court formed the arbitration committee to resolve the matter with the talks. The committee includes former Justice FM Kalifulla, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a senior lawyer Shriram Panchu. In May Justice SA Bobde, Justice D.V. Chandrachud, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice S Nazajir’s Bench gave the arbitration committee time till August 15 to resolve the matter. The bench had directed the members to solve the case in eight weeks. The whole conversation is in front of the camera.

THEY FILED 14 PETITIONS IN THE SUPREME COURT
In 2010, they filed 14 petitions in the Supreme Court against Allahabad High Court’s decision. The High Court had said in its verdict- they should share the area equally ​ in three parts. First Sunni Waqf Board, second – Nirmohi Akhara and third – Ramlal.
