Coronavirus India Live Updates: 103 Deaths In India In 24 hours, 3,970 Cases; Total 85,940 Cases

COVID-19 Live Updates: India registered 103 deaths linked to the novel coronavirus in 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said. 3,970 new cases were also reported during the same period, it said. 35.08 percent of the patients or 30,153 people have recovered so far.
India — which crossed the COVID-19 tally of China where the virus emerged late last year — is ranked 11th in the world in terms of coronavirus cases.

In a fatal accident this morning, 24 migrants were killed and many were injured when the trucks they were travelling in collided in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya district, about 200 km from the state capital Lucknow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the deaths and said that the government is busy in relief work. “The road accident in Auraiya of Uttar Pradesh is very tragic. The government is busy in relief work. I express my condolences to the families of those killed in this accident, as well as wish the injured as soon as possible,” PM Modi tweeted in Hindi.
