Coronavirus: State Bank of India (SBI) has warned its employees against posting content on social media that is critical of the lender over its functioning in the wake of the countrywide lockdown to curb the coronavirus pandemic. The development comes amid rising number of coronavirus cases in the country, which entered the tenth day of a pan-India lockdown to fight the spread of the deadly virus. In a statement, the country’s largest bank by assets said some of its employees recently took to social media platforms to voice their opposition to SBI’s continued operations amid the lockdown.
