Coronavirus In India LIVE UPDATES: India entered the second week of the nationwide lockdown, as more than 1700 positive Covid-19 cases across the nation were confirmed. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced further measures for dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is conducting searches at various locations in the city to locate the people who participated in Delhi’s Tablighi Jamaat.
As per the latest update available with ABP News, the number of Coronavirus positive cases climbed to 1,723 with 38 deaths reported so far. In Delhi, a doctor working at a government hospital has tested positive for COVID-19, after which the hospital premises were shut and the building was sanitized.
Case has been registered against Maulana Saad & others of Tableeghi Jamaat under Epidemic Disease Act 1897 & other sections of IPC for violation of government directions given to the management of Markaz of Basti Nizamuddin, regarding restrictions on gatherings, Delhi Police Commissioner has said.
