From midnight on Monday, the CM ordered the closure of toll gates. In addition, no private vehicles will now be allowed to ply on the roads besides commercial vehicles starting Tuesday morning.

Ashok Gehlot decided to take more stern measures as reports of people still moving around despite there being little traffic on the started coming to light on Monday. For the poor and daily wagers, the Rajasthan CM announced ex-gratia of Rs 1,000 crores.

Meanwhile, Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister has ordered the police to file an FIR against a doctor from Bhilwara who hosted guests from Dubai, one of whom was infected with Covid-19 which led to the spread of infection to 11 staffers of a hospital, including the doctor.
