Post the GST cut on electric vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading player in EVs is expediting some of the new electric vehicle projects and now wants to work on an all new grounds up electric vehicle architecture for the Indian market.
Speaking at the Q1 earnings conference, Pawan Goenka, MD of Mahindra & Mahindra said the company will have range of new electric vehicle products right from three wheelers, small commercials to even new personal vehicles.
While the electric three wheleers are a ‘low hanging fruit’, the company will be coming out with new electric four wheelers. In fact, in case of some products like XUV 300 electric the company will be expediting it.
